2. These are product placements.
이는 작품 속 광고다.

그 프로그램은 간접 광고를 통해 큰 수익을 봤다.

3. They are a type of indirect advertising.
간접 광고의 일종이다.

드라마의 인물이 신형 휴대폰 기종을 쓸 수도 있다.
5. They might drive a car from a certain carmaker.
특정 자동차 회사의 자동차를 몰 수도 있다.

6. They might even have coffee at a particular coffee chain.
심지어 특정 커피숍에서 커피를 마실 수도 있다.
7. These product placements can be very effective.
이 같은 간접 광고는 매우 효과적일 수 있다.

* If you're tired, coffee can be effective.
피곤하면 커피가 효과적일지도 몰라.
* This medicine is very effective.
이 약은 효과가 매우 좋다.
* To prevent a hangover, drinking lots of water is effective.
숙취를 예방하기 위해서는 물을 많이 마시는 것이 효과적이다.
8. Viewer usually switch the channel when ordinary commercials are aired. However, they will keep watching product placements on a show.
일반 광고가 방송될 때는 시청자가 보통 채널을 돌리는 반면, 작품 속 간접 광고는 계속 보게 되기 때문이다.
