Busan is Korea’s second-largest city, and the biggest port city. It is an important distribution center, and one of the biggest tourist destinations in our country. Many tourists from home and abroad visit Busan, regardless of the season. In the summer especially, the city boasts the biggest crowds in the country. Busan has some of Korea’s best beaches, such as Haeundae and Gwangalli. The popular beaches are lined with various restaurants and cafes. Because it’s a coastal city, there are many delicious local dishes that are made with seafood. There are also splendid sights and locations, like Gwangandaegyo Bridge and Marine City, which are famed for their great night vistas. The Busan International Film Festival which is held each October is also a top draw of Busan.
